Die Europäische Agentur für die Sicherheit des Seeverkehrs (EMSA) hat eine öffentliche Ausschreibung auf TED unter der Nummer EMSA/OP/10/2018 über
„Verträge über RPAS VTOL Dienstleistungen zur Emissions-Überwachung und Meeresüberwachung“
veröffentlicht. Unbemannte, ferngesteuerten Flugzeugsystemen (RPAS) mit vertikale Start-und Lande Eigenschaften sollen im Bereich der zivilen Seeschifffahrt zur Unterstützung der Emissionsüberwachung und der maritimen See-Überwachungstätigkeiten zum Einsatz kommen.

EMSA/OP/10/2018 – Contracts for RPAS VTOL Services for Emissions Monitoring and Maritime Surveillance
The objective of this call for tender is to contract Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) services in the civil maritime domain in support of Emissions Monitoring and Maritime Surveillance activities. The provision of cost-efficient RPAS services in the maritime domain should include assets, tools and relevant expert staff to pilot the RPA, capture and disseminate the data.

Lot 1 – VTOL RPAS for Emissions Monitoring
Lot 1 will focus on emissions monitoring. The RPAS platforms must be able to take-off and land from shore and will focus on short range operations.
Lot 2 – VTOL RPAS for Maritime Surveillance
Lot 2 will focus on maritime surveillance. The RPAS platforms must be able to take-off and land vertically from shore or from vessels operated by the users and will focus on short range operations.
