The internal committees are the technical heart of UAV DACH. In our Competence and Project Groups, experts from various subfields of unmanned aviation have come together to discuss technical topics, develop proposed solutions for current and future challenges, and actively support the association’s internal decision-making process.
Since Matthias Vyshnevskyy most recently held the position of Head of the CG Operations in addition to his diverse responsibilities as Co-Head of the Advisory Committee, Dr. Paul Mathias Marczona will assume the important role of Head of the Competence Group Operations going forward. As UAS Legal Manager at Deutsche Bahn, he specializes in aviation law and compliance issues related to UAS/drones. His core responsibilities include establishing and developing central governance and management structures for UAS operations in large organizations. He will be joined by Nathanel Apter, who is taking over the role of Co-Head of Competence Group Operations from Dieter Klein. Nathanel Apter is the founder and managing director of UASolutions. Prior to that, he worked for the “Digitalization & Innovation” team at the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation.
The Competence Group Operations supports the entire lifecycle of drones -from developing viable operational concepts and ensuring compliance with legal regulations to simplifying complex regulatory frameworks and removing operational barriers to the sustainable use of drones.
We would like to thank Matthias Vyshnevskyy and Dieter Klein for their dedication and hard work, and we wish Paul Mathias Marczona and Nathanel Apter every success in their new roles.
