UAV DACH Brings European Perspectives to Houston

XPONENTIAL in Houston is not just a meeting place for companies and (potential) customers to talk about new technologies and concepts. It is also a platform for knowledge transfer and the exchange of ideas and concepts for the future of unmanned aviation. There are therefore plenty of interesting presentations, workshops and discussion rounds to attend on three stages in the exhibition hall and in numerous breakout sessions.

On behalf of UAV DACH, CEO Dr. Gerald Wissel took part in a panel on “The Global Autonomous Tech Startup Ecosystem - Perspectives from Africa, Asia & Europe” to talk about the importance of funding instruments and support measures for young companies as well as established companies. Together with Eno Umoh (The African Drone Forum), Darshan Divakaran (NUAIR Defense) and HyonWoo Kang (KIAST, Korea Institute of Aviation Safety Technology), he exchanged views on how startups in particular and companies in general can successfully establish and maintain themselves on the market in a time of change and challenging economic conditions.

But not only on stage, but also in many conversations in the corridors or in the German Pavilion, the focus will be on how the different regions of the world can learn from each other and grow together through cooperation. Houston is therefore sure to once again provide some interesting impetus for the development of a global UAS/AAM industry, which will also be incorporated into the future work of UAV DACH.
