With the proposed amendments to EU Regulations 2019\/945 and 2019\/947, the European <span class=\"\u2018LI\">Aviation Safety Agency<\/span> is fulfilling the task assigned to it under the EU Action Plan on drone and <span class=\"LI ng\">drone defence safety<\/span>. Over the past few months, UAV DACH has actively participated in the regulatory process to date through the relevant consultations and expert discussions, representing the interests of the industry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Opinion 06\/2026, which is to be submitted to the European Commission for adoption, addresses several key demands made by UAV DACH. For example, the take-off ban linked to a validated operator registration should be implemented directly within the <span class=\"LI ng\">UAS<\/span> and not linked to the DRI module. Furthermore, <span class=\"Lm ng\">the future mandatory<\/span> provision of airspace data for geozones in machine-readable form is an important step in the right direction and contributes to the creation of a fully digitalised airspace. At the same time, certain points remain open to discussion. For example, the specific details of the proposed changes to the guidelines on the establishment of geographical areas by the individual Member States.<\/p>\n<p>Following the publication of EASA Opinion 06\/2026 at the end of last week, the internal expert committees of UAV DACH are now carrying out a final assessment of its content. As part of the member consultation process, the focus will also be on jointly discussing which specific measures and activities can be derived from this for UAV DACH in general and for its members in particular.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">And, of course, the document was also discussed at the Drone Expert Group meeting in Brussels.
