Commercial UAS operations require much more than \u201cjust\u201d getting the drone airborne. Not least, they require a suitable ground infrastructure. That is why the Competence Group (CG) Infrastructure Ground within our association is developing ideas and concepts for the design of vertiports as well as general takeoff and landing zones for unmanned aircraft systems.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe future of unmanned aviation will not be decided solely in the air, but above all on the ground,\u201d says Benjamin Spiske, Head of CG Infrastructure Ground. \u201cAs an architect and expert in aviation infrastructure<\/span><\/span>, it is important to me to bridge the gap between technological innovation, regulatory requirements, and practical implementation.\u201d<\/p>\n International collaboration and the opportunity to actively shape the industry\u2019s development led Benjamin to UAV DACH. His primary job is at BATT Suisse GmbH.
