International crises and conflicts continue to dominate the news in the new year. Intensifying its own efforts in the areas of security and defense therefore remains one of Europe's key tasks for the future. The field of unmanned systems in general, and the UAS industry in particular, has a key role to play in this regard. Intensive cooperation within the European Union is essential in this context. Even more, the establishment of a European value chain in the security and defense industry offers individual business opportunities and can also further strengthen the continent's resilience.
On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, the German-Italian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Italy) is therefore organizing a business development trip to Italy for German companies as part of the Market Development Program (MEP). With stops in Rome, Milan, and Genoa, small and medium-sized enterprises will have the opportunity to gain insights into one of the most important European markets in the field of security and defense and to make direct contact with potential business and project partners. Interested companies can secure one of the twelve places available until January 14, 2026.
