Innovative Air Mobility Implementation Forum

Information, exchange and networking

Information, dialogue and networking are decisive factors in achieving progress together. And the Innovative Air Mobility Implementation Forum offered just that. The focus of the two-day event at the headquarters of the European Aviation Safety Agency EASA in Cologne was therefore the exchange between European and national regulatory authorities and UAS-operators in order to promote the future integration of unmanned systems into Airspace. In addition to current insights on topics such as U-Space, BVLOS-operations and highly automated UAS missions, the event was also particularly about sharing experiences and tackling the practical challenges of the future together.

An important event that showed that much progress has already been made with regard to suitable framework conditions for commercial UAS operations. However, it also made it clear that there are still some questions to be answered.

We would like to thank all the organisers of the Innovative Air Mobility Implementation Forum for planning and running such a successful event. And we are very much looking forward to continuing to work with our members and partners from all over Europe to tackle existing problems together and to shape the framework conditions for an economically successful UAS industry in Europe. For example at the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM on 17 and 18 February in Düsseldorf, where many of the discussions and talks of the past few days will certainly be intensively continued.
