The International Drone Show 2026 is taking place today at the Hans Christian Andersen Airport in Odense, Denmark. The focus—whether at the exhibition booths, in the lecture and discussion program, or during the flight demonstrations on the airport grounds—is particularly on military application scenarios for unmanned systems. Of course, civilian use cases and dual-use technologies are also well represented.
Over the past few years, #IDS26 has developed into an important meeting place for the UAS industry in Northern Europe and beyond. In many discussions this year as well, the ultimate focus is on how unmanned systems can be put into practical use and what practical experience should be incorporated into the further development of drones and accessory components.
Information and networking are not only core elements of the International Drone Show but also essential components of the association’s work at UAV DACH. Through collaboration among all stakeholders, we can succeed in further promoting unmanned aviation in Europe and revolutionizing not only the defense industry but also many other sectors of economic and social life.
