Perimeter Protection for securing sensitive areas

In recent weeks and months, multiple sightings of drones apparently being used illegally have been in the headlines. There is no question that improperly operated UAS can pose a specific challenge for perimeter protection. However - and this should not be forgotten - they are also a potential solution to many a problem when it comes to securing sensitive areas.

Experts have been discussing these and many other current topics for security authorities and civilian security companies at Perimeter Protection in Nuremberg. As Europe's largest UAS expert association, UAV DACH is a long-time partner of the trade fair and is contributing to the event with a varied program of presentations.

The two board members Michael Wieland and Torsten Fiolka (left on the picture, here in conversation with Securiton employee Henry Weinert) are on site to exchange ideas with the numerous member companies present and to inform interested visitors about the possibilities that unmanned systems offer for perimeter protection and far beyond.
