At the invitation of State Secretary Stefan Schnorr, Dr Gerald Wissel recently took part in the round table on "Strengthening Germany as an aviation location" at the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport Affairs (BMDV) in Berlin.
As the first participant from the Association for Unmanned Aviation in the round of high-ranking representatives of the German Aviation-Associations, the Chairman of the UAV DACH Board of Directors took the opportunity to point out the many opportunities associated with the innovation potential of the UAS-industry in terms of electrification, automation and digitalisation. He also reiterated the call for the ever-growing importance of UAS and AAM for the economy and society by setting up an independent department in the BMDV with sufficient staff capacity.
