Since 2018, the market research company Drone Industry Insights has conducted an annual survey on the current state of the global UAS industry. The data collected offers interesting insights into current trends, but also sheds light on existing obstacles to commercial UAS operations.
This broadens individual perspectives and helps identify urgent tasks that individual stakeholders should tackle on their own and that the international community must address collectively. As a result, the data from the annual Global Drone Survey also provides useful insights for the association and committee work of UAV DACH. In particular, the changes that become apparent when compared to previous years make it possible to actively counter undesirable developments and reinforce positive trends as effectively as possible.
The survey runs through the end of July and is aimed at companies and individuals who operate UAS for commercial purposes. All data will be treated confidentially and anonymously. It takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete the survey. All participants will receive a free copy of the next “Global State of Drones” white paper, which will feature some key findings from the current online survey.
