Joint Application Group
Drone Detection & Countermeasures (DDC)

The Joint Application Group Drone Detection & Countermeasures is dedicated to describing and further developing legal frameworks, technical options, and practical measures in the field of drone detection and countermeasures. The aim is to provide guidance and options for action to authorities, industry, and society.

The group works on practical approaches to effectively meet protection needs in sensitive areas such as critical infrastructure, industrial facilities, and urban areas. In doing so, it takes into account both the perspective of security and the promotion of European industry.

A key concern is to create acceptance for drone defense measures without hindering the development of economically successful unmanned aviation and its diverse applications.
The JAG DDC sees itself as an interface between technical solutions, regulatory requirements, and societal expectations.
