Happy faces wherever you looked. The first XPONENTIAL Europe in Düsseldorf was a huge success and a perfect start for this new event format. Together with Messe Düsseldorf and AUVSI, UAV DACH, as co-host of XPONENTIAL Europe, had worked towards creating a meeting place for exchange and networking within the drone economy. And the efforts paid off, as the feedback from exhibitors and visitors from all over the world and from all areas of unmanned mobility impressively demonstrated.
With the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM, UAV DACH provided a perfect overture on the day before the start of XPONENTIAL Europe. Held for the first time in Düsseldorf under the motto “Shaping the Future: Clearing Obstacles to Commercial UAS Operations in Europe”, the conference delivered everything that the experts from industry, science and authorities had promised. Presentations and town hall debates focused on developing solutions to current problems facing the UAS industry in Europe. And the lively participation of the audience made it clear that the organizing team had obviously hit some sore spots when selecting the topics. The discussions did not end in the packed event room; there were also intensive debates, contacts were made and networks were strengthened during the breaks.
“Since the beginning of the cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf and AUVSI, it was clear to us that we could create something big and important for our industry together with XPONENTIAL Europe,” said Dr. Gerald Wissel, CEO of UAV DACH. “The feedback from our exhibiting members, the many, many guests at our stand and at the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM was extremely positive and showed us that XPONENTIAL Europe is the leading trade fair for autonomous systems in Europe right from the start.”
