Provide administrative resources and structures for unmanned aviation in the administration

While the regulatory requirements for commercial UAS operations are essentially developed at EU level, their practical implementation is largely the responsibility of the member states' institutions, and creating an adequate administrative and economic framework for the drone economy is primarily the responsibility of national ministries and authorities. The creation of adequate administrative and economic framework conditions for the drone economy is primarily in the responsibility of national ministries and authorities.

In order to keep up with the rapid pace of technological progress, adequate human resources must be built up and institutional structures created. And this is better done today than tomorrow. This is the only way the drone economy can survive the intense global competition.

Together with partner organizations such as the German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI), UAV DACH has therefore repeatedly stressed to the German government the importance of setting a strategic course. In a letter to Stefan Schnorr, the responsible State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport Affairs (BMDV), the establishment of an independent Unmanned Aviation Department within the BMDV was demanded.

For UAV DACH, creating an enabling environment for the commercial use of drones in Europe is one of the cornerstones of the association's work. After all, UAS can only realise their full potential if the environment is right. For a sustainably successful drone economy and for the benefit of the general public.
