An Important Guideline for the Activities of UAV DACH

Unmanned aviation is a complex technical, regulatory and operational matter. In order to optimally contribute to debates in the many different sub-areas in the interests of our members and the entire UAS/AAM industry, set topics and shape positive framework conditions for a successful drone economy in Europe, intensive expert group work is part of the extensive range of activities in the Unmanned Aviation Association.

In these committees, experts in their respective specialist fields are committed to developing proposals and specific concepts for the future regulatory and operational design of commercial UAS operations. Here, for example, technical solutions are sought for current challenges in unmanned aviation and ideas are developed for the harmonization of standards and specifications.

The Competence Groups deal with the fundamental technical and regulatory framework for the European drone industry. In the Application Groups, members work on concepts for specific applications. To ensure the best possible results, the technical work of the Competence and Application Groups is coordinated by our Advisory Committee, where the threads for the technical and committee work in UAV DACH come together.

The results of the expert group work are an important guideline for the activities of the Association for Unmanned Aviation and a valuable information resource for our members from all areas of the UAS/AAM industry. We would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved for their great work and invite interested parties to find out more about the committee work in UAV DACH and the opportunities to play an active role in shaping positive framework conditions for the drone economy.
