In recent years, Odense has steadily developed into a highly regarded center for the (Scandinavian) UAS/AAM industry. With consistency and professionalism, the people in charge at Hans Christian Andersen Airport have created structures that enable sustainable growth and technological progress. And with the annual International Drone Show, a Europe-wide event is held here that now attracts participants from all over the world.
This year is no exception. In 2025, the International Drone Show will take place over two days for the first time. In other words, there is plenty of time for in-depth discussions and for consolidating and expanding your own network. Time for informative presentations and discussions. Time for live demonstrations of unmanned aerial systems and modern payload.
UAV DACH will once again have its own stand at this year's event. Board members Michael Wieland, Markus Rossol and Jan Schönberg will be on hand to answer any questions about the Unmanned Aviation Association and its many activities to promote the UAS/AAM industry in Europe.
Hans Christian Andersen Airport is an important nucleus of the Danish UAS industry. Not only is the International Drone Show held here, but it is also home to the UAS Denmark Test Center. From 2026, Odense will also be home to a new drone center for the Danish Armed Forces. And with Odense Robotics, the Danish drone cluster is also based in the city of 180,000 inhabitants on the island of Funen.
