The year 2024 is coming to an end and we are taking big steps towards 2025. Accordingly, on the second day of the 64th general assembly of UAV DACH, some important decisions were made for the upcoming months.
The responsible board member Michael Wieland gave an overview of the unmanned aviation association's finances and was able to report a very healthy balance between expenditure and income to the attendees. The members also approved the financial planning for 2025 and the associated operational and strategic measures. In addition to the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM, XPONENTIAL Europe in Düsseldorf and XPONENTIAL in Houston, there are many other highlights and challenges on the agenda for the Board of Directors, administrative office, specialist committees and members.
Oliver Lichtenstein will also be at the forefront of this in the future. The members elected the co-founder and Managing Director of UAV DACH member Beagle Systems as Vice Chairman of the Executive Board without a dissenting vote. Together with Dr. Gerald Wissel, he will manage the fortunes of the Association for Unmanned Aviation in the future and, above all, work to give the UAS industry in general and the member companies in particular a strong voice at European level.
Finally, we would like to thank the Fraunhofer FKIE and the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft in Berlin for their hospitality and great support on site.
