25 keynotes, presentations and town hall debates, over 50 speakers and a total of well over 250 participants from Europe and around the world. No question: the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM 2025 was the biggest EDF ever. Held for the first time in Düsseldorf and as part of XPONENTIAL Europe, the event organized by UAV DACH underlined its reputation as the most important European conference for unmanned aviation.
The UAV DACH board invited association members and participants of the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM 2025 to a virtual recap in order to weigh up the many valuable impulses, suggestions and ideas with a little distance and to talk about them again. More than 60 interested parties took the time to once again discuss some of the key findings of the conference and to derive specific ideas and proposals on how existing hurdles for commercial UAS operations in Europe could be removed. It is currently more important than ever that the industry develops common positions and introduces them into the debate with national and European regulatory and approval authorities.
For example, at the upcoming meeting of the Technical Expert Board (TEB), which will meet in Cologne on March 24/25 at the invitation of EASA. Like other European UAS associations, UAV DACH has been invited to attend the TEB meeting for one day and will take the opportunity to contribute some of the important ideas from the EUROPEAN DRONE FORUM to the discussions there.
